About Us
Andon Frères was formed in 1983 by the present Managing Director, Don Glossop, a Chartered Management Accountant with extensive industrial and commercial experience, including a number of years in director positions.
Operating initially as a business consultancy, we provided practical support and advice to SMEs and owner-managed companies, aimed at assisting them through most stages of their growth and development. We focussed on business improvement – company strategy, the preparation of business plans, change management, team building, implementation of management information and control systems, financial direction, and corporate finance. Over the years, we undertook a significant amount of Government funded consultancy work, initially through the Department of Trade and Industry, then through Training & Enterprise Councils and Business Links.
In 1998, as a result of an increasing involvement in corporate finance transactions, Andon Frères Corporate Brokers Ltd was formed to take over the company sale and acquisition engagements previously undertaken through the consultancy practice, and this now accounts for almost all of our work.
